Stage 1 Expansion

The Waitsia Stage 1 project, completed in 2016, connected two wells via 7 km of flowline to the refurbished Xyris Production Facility (XPF), which had been in care and maintenance since 2010.

The Stage 1 Expansion upgraded the capacity of the XPF to 30 TJ/day and a 4 km lateral pipeline was installed to connect to the nearby Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline.  The expansion also connected the nearby Waitsia-02 Well.

The expansion project construction work commenced in Q1 2020 and was completed in Q3 2020.  Stakeholder engagement was undertaken and regulatory approvals were progressed to meet this schedule.
