Following initial assessment of the referral, the EPA set the level of assessment at ‘Referral Information’ with additional information required in the form of management plans.

The additional information is now available for a two-week public review period and is comprised of the following Environmental Management Plans:
• Water Management
• Flora and Vegetation
• Greenhouse Gas
• Flaring

Electronic copies of the documents can be downloaded from www.epa.wa.gov.au.

As part of the assessment process, MEPAU is advertising the public review in the metropolitan and regional newspapers.

MEPAU is looking forward to continuing the development of the high-quality Waitsia Gas Project Stage 2, which will increase competition, supply diversity, and improve energy security by offering a new and low risk onshore resource. Read more about the Waitsia Stage 2 Project here.
